Shame Cruelty – Be kind to every one, including yourself

I am always amazed at the capacity for us human beings to have for being Cruel. We always couch it in rational and logical messages. But that does not camouflage our Cruelty. To take a device. Type cruel words that others will laugh at. And you know others will be stung by. What is it in us as Human Beings that makes us so Cruel?

If all the focus and obsession we are capable of having as human beings, was directed at our insides, I know our world would be less violent, less abusive, less cruel, less unkind, less poorer……Yes let’s say the right things. Health is wealth. But are all people who are bigger than you unhealthy? Or are you projecting your reality when you were plus size? Still hate yourself? Still in disbelief that you lost all that weight? So to keep yourself thin, you need to be unkind to those that reflect your past. Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. And it is not always about a couch versus gym. Or crisps versus salad. A compassionate human being will know that.

Clothes keep us covered and warm whether costing a dollar or does adding a few thousands turn them into body armour that prevent bullets and us seeing the state of your heart? Looking and being healthy is not the same. You can be size twiggy and fall dead tomorrow. Be miserable. Happy in public and lonely in private. Be a bigger person in body and heart. Light up the world and have a full life. Balance is always good. No one is saying obesity is healthy. But before you spue unkindness under the disguise of living healthy and encouraging healthy living, which you can do even in silence, think about what would the world really lose if you kept your cruel comments to yourself?  Will all the big people suddenly die because you didn’t abuse them this day in cyberspace? How much more goodness would you achieve by being kind? Just because you can, does not mean you must.

Spend more words, intelligence and energy obsessing about being a beautiful, light person inside. We may not see your inside. But we will sure experience it. Like we are now experiencing your cruelty. Your inside is the part that endears one to hearts forever. “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel”. – Maya Angelou. And karma is a B…The Universe has a great sense of humour. 

One day the only person who may stand before you and something you really want. Or help you when those that are as shallow as you abandon you because their values go with the fashion and pandering to your cruel comments show their own lack. That person who will or can potentially be your Saving Grace will be come in the package and image that you are ridiculing today. That I have no doubt. That is part of our Souls lessons. We hate and attract what we need to most deal with in ourselves. So our obsessions are just a mirror to our healing. Be kind to each other. That is Enlightened Self Interest.
